In the treacherous Sunken Temple, you discover a series of ancient glowing crystals that mark the safe passage through a deadly labyrinth. A cryptic inscription reads: 'Observe the light, for it reveals the way forward.' The first crystal glows with a single pulse. The second emits two pulses. The third flashes three times. The fourth pulses five times. The fifth shines with seven pulses. If you are to find the next safe crystal, how many pulses will it emit?

Solution
11 — The sequence of pulses observed is 1, 2, 3, 5, 7. At first glance, it might look like an arithmetic progression or even part of a Fibonacci sequence, but neither fully fits. The trick lies in recognizing that the sequence is composed of the number '1', followed by the consecutive prime numbers: 2, 3, 5, and 7. Therefore, the next number in the sequence, after 7, must be the next prime number, which is 11.

During a magic show, the magician displays a clear cube that has a tiny red dot painted on the center of the top face and a tiny blue dot painted on the center of the bottom face (the two dots are on opposite faces). The other four faces are plain. He then performs two secret moves while the audience watches: first he rotates the cube 90° clockwise around a vertical axis (so the front face moves to the right), and then he rotates the cube 90° clockwise around a horizontal axis that runs left‑to‑right (so the top face moves toward the audience). After these two rotations, which two colored faces now share a common edge?
