Red and blue — First rotation (vertical 90°) moves the red‑dot face from the top to the top‑right side and the blue‑dot face from the bottom to the bottom‑right side; they remain opposite each other. The second rotation (horizontal 90°) swings the top‑right face (now bearing the red dot) forward to become the front face, and the bottom‑right face (bearing the blue dot) becomes the bottom face. After this move the red‑dot face and the blue‑dot face are adjacent along a vertical edge of the cube. Hence the red and blue faces now share a common edge.
